In 1996 Anthony Shalitis took his previous 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry and partnered with a small service company installing environmental piping and controls and assisting them in starting an air and water balance unit. Utilizing his experience and connections he assisted in growing the company into a nationwide TAB firm which primarily served retail chains. He became a NEBB Certified Professional in 1998 and decided in 1999 to divest his partnership in the service company and form his own company. Zartra Rheology Fluid Measurement Services was formed in that same year. It became a widely known and highly regarded specialized Testing Agency which served industries all over the U.S. for over 15 years.

In 2002 Zartra was certified by NEBB and was thereafter able to offer its services to contractors whose projects specified an NEBB contractor to perform Air and Water Balancing.

Central Fluid Measurement, Inc. was registered and incorporated in 2014. The formation of CFM, Inc. integrated Zartra Rheology Fluid Measurement Services with the industrial maintenance and alternative energy enterprises also operated by Mr. Shalitis.

The industrial maintenance division primarily served production facility and food service establishments. It's niche was in the resolution of building humidity and pressurization issues. We have had the pleasure to work beside several Owners, Designers and Operators of facilities who have experienced difficulties in the control of humidity and moisture. These projects have allowed us to build a collaboration with firms and individuals who possess varied expertise in solving problems of this nature.

Additionally we have experience in the fields of Solar fluid heating and Geo Thermal heating and cooling systems design and setup. Althought these ventures are a not a major source of revenue for the company we strive to continuously update our knowledge of alternative heat transfer and collections methods. We maintain in our circle of consultants Mr. Wilton Mewbourn, a pioneer in the field of Geothermal heating equipment design, installation and operation.

It is our intention to continue the high quality, highly specialized services previously offered while also widening the scope of our services to include Owners, Builders and contractors who are interested in a Test and Balance Contractor for Bid and Spec work. We intend to constantly streamline and synergize our operations reducing our overhead and passing the savings to our clients without sacrificing quality and professionalism. Our commitment to efficiency begins in our own office which is heated and cooled using geothermal heat pump technology. Our hot water usage is supplemented by solar power and heat reclaim on our A/C units. We are planning on moving into a larger facility and intend to upgrade it in the same manner. The skill levels of our technicians is constantly upgraded and they are expected to be neat and articulate. All employees are encouraged to take advantage of our wellness plan.
